History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Herbalist arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born to a Healer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting gnolls, the young Diggory began to lead the lost caravan. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and wishes to resurrect an old love
