Description: He is wearing a long, blue, dusty cloak. He is portly but not overly obese. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born in the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. At a young age his mother died while driving off some dire rats. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in sword use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Hugh was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Born to a Soapmaker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He worked as a nervous Weaver and found it very stressful. He has worked as a Weaver like his mother before him.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He is dressed in a clean white cloak covering his clean studded leather. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy white hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and to find somewhere to settle down
