Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Conrad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to reunite with his absent father

History: He was born in the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Aldous's homeland. Aldous decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A freak accident while working with his Seamstress father left him crippled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shoemaker responsibilities is difficult.

His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he is unsatisfied with his job
