Description: He wears a tan coat over a blue low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Percival was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Detective. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and retire the richest man in the north

Outside of the suit he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His golden hair is singed and shortened. He has violet eyes.
Personality: Patrick speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Patrick was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears dull yellow sweaters, loose red pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed sword, just in case. With a patchy black beard and wild black hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
