History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: Theobald is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He married young, but lost his spouse to goblins. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Lewis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
