History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Charles grew up listening to his father's many stories. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Bernard took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His brown hair, when down, is lengthy. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Rolf is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Soapmaker and was forced into it by his family.
