Description: He stands about 6'3" and is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy auburn hair. His green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age his mother died while driving off some giants. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in glaive use. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and someone believes him a fraud

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'6". He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep tan leather and dull violet iron scale mail, and his gloved hand is found clutching a longsword. His golden hair is still thick. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hunter embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: Hunter was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: This slender man stands about 5'9". He wears a yellow vest and prefers white and green shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His red hair and beard is wavy and long. His green eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed yellow hat.
Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Scribe who has hired him part-time. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Robert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: Manfred was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He found a children's book about a Human Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he wants to get laid
