History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Adelard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Gifted from a young age, Hubert studied abroad. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. After a long history of fighting, Hubert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Geoffrey was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A freak accident while working with his Baker father left him crippled. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: Expand his business; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gifted student he started as a Servant, but he got bored and became a Body Guard. He has achieved small success as a Body Guard.

History: Guy was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and regain custody of his daughter
