History: Born in the west to a Mayor, Jocelyn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mayor for hire.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

He has done his best to style his white hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Detective. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Norman was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Detective.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to unite with his sister

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Hunter was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Roofer. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things
