Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a nunchaku on his belt. He is portly but not overly obese. His hair is brown and very short. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Jocelyn was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Jocelyn's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jocelyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: Standing 5'10", this man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He wears his auburn hair up. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Miles isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Simon was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a green shirt, with a black mid length shorts with black tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ralf does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he usually wears his blue robe and has his bastard sword always slung over his shoulder. His hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: John is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.

History: John was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dilettante responsibilities is difficult; and he desires power and/or immortality
