His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
