History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and further expansion of business

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. The war was a terrible time for him, and Balimaar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He got into the Soapmaker business at a young age. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Balimaar was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
