History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Manfred embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Through the years after Manfred was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Manfred's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized white coat, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He wears his black hair up in a very large beehive style do. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gilbert will drive conversation. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears bulky tan painted plate armor. His silver hair is heavily combed to the left. This brown eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. The war was a terrible time for him, and Theodoric does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Theodoric hails from a village terrorized by drow. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and human compassion
