Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Reynard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Reynard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Reynard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Hubert alone in the world.
