Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Gerard was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sculptor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has achieved small success as a Sculptor.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'5" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. His hair is long and red with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has achieved small success as a Shepherd.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. The war was a terrible time for him, and Reynard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.
