History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. After a long history of fighting, Rolf and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sage and was forced into it by his family; and he is greedy

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spy work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spy work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Spy for hire.
