History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Richard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Richard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He worked as a nervous Adventurer and found it very stressful. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
