History: The child of a Fisher, who enjoyed hunting, Anselm was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Lance never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
