Personality: He is fixated on the number 9. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Gerard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Gerard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. After coming to the age of reason, Gerard took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born in the north. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Brewer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sage, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
