One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. History: Gerald was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Hubert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a blacksmith and was forced into it by his family

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Conrad's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born in a small desert village. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is greedy
