His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Bernard took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up spear and armor he uses now. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He tends to his Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Gifted from a young age, Percival studied abroad. His first spouse was a Sailor, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Adventurer.
