History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and doesn't want to be a locksmith and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He bought a rapier and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a quarterstaff on his belt. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Dean is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Through the years after Dean was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Dean's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
