History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Dean was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Dyer. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born in the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

History: Lance lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He worked as a nervous Herbalist and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Herbalist for the past few years.
