Description: He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light grey in addition to tight pants. His white hair is heavily combed to the left. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man is typically in his Spice Merchant uniform. He has white hair. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.
History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has taken up work as a Spice Merchant and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.
Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and many illithids want him driven away

Description: He wears dark leathers with embroidery. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. He wears his brown hair up in a very large beehive style do. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. A true patriot, Gerard would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Animal Trainer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
Motivation: He has a crush on the local Animal Trainer.

Description: He wears baggy green pantaloons and a brown scarf. He is portly but not overly obese. His white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a small hat. This gray eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. A true patriot, Gerald would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When Gerald reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Slave Trader responsibilities is difficult; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'5". He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, and his gloved hand is found clutching a scythe. His silver hair is greasy and uncared for. He has a dull look in his green eyes.
Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a bounty hunter again
