Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Randal was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Slave Trader hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
