History: Born in the west to a Guard, Richard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Personality: He is a Layabout first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Jocelyn was born the youngest of three triplets. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
