History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Bertram reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Chad embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Junk Dealer father left him crippled. After a long history of fighting, Chad and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Frederick lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
