History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, William was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sculptor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born in a small desert village. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
