History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by illithids. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Lance was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Gunter alone in the world.
