When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of a Stylist, who enjoyed hunting, Gunter was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Gunter alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Gunter and his spouse have recently divorced.

He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
