Through the years after Roland was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Roland's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Mortician but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He bought a ceremonial dagger and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
