History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. William was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and many brigands want him driven away

History: He comes from a rich western family. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Aldous was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
