History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Alex was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Interpreter. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Gerard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
