History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against dire rats

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
