Description: He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his rapier, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.
Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Roland enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Roland was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.
History: Born in the south to a Shoemaker, Thomas learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Bookbinder mother left him crippled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Richard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he desires power and/or immortality
