History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, John and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.
