History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Bernard took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Shane was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He takes great joy in being the best Roofer in town.

History: He was born in the west. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Roofer.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and to be a miller again
