History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Shane lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and to be a blacksmith again

History: Born in the west to a Courier, Hunter learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
