William Wharton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is well dressed, constantly wearing a blue suit, green shirt, and yellow tie, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'10" when asserting himself. He keeps his chestnut hair in a flapper bob. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, William is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His childhood dream was to be a Barrister, but he was a colossal failure. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and expand his business
Ideals: Justice. Flaws: Shy, Ugly. Bonds: Job, Family. Occupation: Miner
Voice: Shortens vowels

Hugh Pinkerton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: An older man who dresses well, wearing yellow shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is long and golden with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small yellow clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Herbalist business.
History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He has a crush on the local Soapmaker; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
Ideals: Persistence. Flaws: Cynical. Bonds: Attractive, Mentor. Occupation: Herbalist
Voice: Low and grunting
