Bernard Wentworth, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His tied-back hair is silver. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.

Personality: Bernard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Wizard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to share knowledge with the world

Ideals: Disciplined, Professionalism, Logical. Flaws: Insane. Bonds: Attractive. Occupation: Farmer

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Bertram Kenley, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His blonde hair is braided into rings. His brown eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bertram is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
