History: Conrad was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Unemployed work with an outfit from a few towns over. Unemployed work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Peter was born with his mother's beautiful face. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He worked as a nervous Shoemaker and found it very stressful. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Roland was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
