History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Nicholas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nicholas was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
