When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barkeep hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Hugh was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Barrister for hire.

History: Alexandre hails from a village terrorized by giants. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. He now owns his own business.

History: The child of a Roofer, who enjoyed hunting, Richard was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.
