History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Heward was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and many orcs want him driven away

Personality: He is fixated on the number 86. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Bernard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Hugh's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His first spouse was a Map Maker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
