History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Gilbert was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
