Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He's also a talented Glassblower, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Lance was born the youngest of three triplets. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears blue leather gloves, a blue jacket, and tight pants. He sports a long silver beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has amber eyes and a blue hat with a tan feather.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has worked as a Bather like his mother before him.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and wants his loneliness to end
