Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hubert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Gerard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Tanner. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Roger was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Roger was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Roger's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Roger and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Revenge; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
