History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When Anthony reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Anthony never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Dilettante business.

History: Born in the west to a Dilettante, Hunter learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tanner. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tanner for the past few years.
