Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gifted student he started as a Apothecary, but he got bored and became a Tanner. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants revenge against gnolls

Description: He stands about 5'6" and wears a white coat over a green low-cut shirt, and a broad hat upon his head. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. He has no hair. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Balimaar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Balimaar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

He usually wears his black robe and has his quarterstaff always slung over his shoulder. He has styled his chestnut hair well, parting it to the right. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Dustin's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is greedy.
