He found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Theodoric was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. His parents enrolled him in a Barbarian school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He has achieved small success as a Tanner.
